Penwortham Man Jailed For String Of Shoplifting Offences

A man who went on a shoplifting spree stealing items from a supermarket multiple times over a three month period has been sent to prison after pleading guilty to shoplifting offences.

Paul Allen committed the offences at Booths supermarket on Millbrook way between January and March 2024.

Lancashire Police released an update on the court result.

In a social media post, South Ribble Police said, “

This is Paul Allen, he’s been jailed for 24 weeks for a string of shoplifting offences against a supermarket in South Ribble.

Allen, 48, of Meadowbank, Penwortham, pleaded guilty to six counts of shoplifting after stealing around £500 worth of goods from Booths between January and March this year.
