Man Struck Over The Head With Iron Bar In Blackburn Assault

Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and any available footage following an assault on a man in Blackburn.

Officers were called to East Park Road at approximately 4:30 PM on Monday, April 28th, following reports of an altercation between two men in the road.

During the incident, the victim, a man in his 20s, was struck over the head with an iron bar, resulting in a laceration.

The victim had been driving a black BMW 1 Series along East Park Road towards the roundabout. The suspect was travelling behind him in a silver Citroen Picasso.

Police are urging anyone who was driving on East Park Road around the time of the incident and may have dashcam footage of the assault, or any other footage from the area, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting log number 1034 of April 28th.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the altercation or captured any part of the incident on their devices to help them with their investigation.
