Police in Morecambe are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault that occurred earlier this week.
Officers were called to the area outside the Lord Nelson pub on Nelson Street at approximately 1:50 am on Monday, April 28th, following reports of an assault.
Upon arrival, they discovered that a man in his 40s had been struck in the face. The impact caused him to fall and hit his head on a concrete step.
The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been released.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the assault or possesses information about the incident to come forward.
