Two individuals from Fleetwood have been arrested following the execution of a drug warrant on Friday, April 25th, 2025.

Officers from the Fleetwood Neighbourhood team, supported by the Specialist Operations unit, conducted the warrant at a residential address in the town. During the search, they discovered a quantity of white powder suspected to be Class A drugs.

A 22-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, both from Fleetwood, were apprehended on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Lancashire Police have confirmed that both individuals have been released pending further investigation, subject to certain conditions.

The operation underscores Fleetwood Police’s ongoing commitment to tackling serious and organised crime within the local community. Neighbourhood Sergeant Andy Ward emphasised this commitment, stating:

“We know drug dealing has a huge impact on our communities, and we want to reassure residents that we will act on information, and follow through with the necessary actions, such as a warrant.”

Sergeant Ward also highlighted the collaborative effort involved in the operation:

“This warrant was executed as a part of our involvement in the Prosper Partnership. The partnership includes local Police, councils and other key community partners working together to make Fleetwood a better, safer place to live and visit.”

He urged the public to continue providing information, saying:

“I would urge anyone with information to report it directly to us, or anonymously via Crimestoppers. We take reports of serious and organised crime very seriously and we will not tolerate such criminality in our area.”

Anyone with suspicions of criminal activity is encouraged to report it anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via the Lancashire Police website at Report an Incident – Lancashire Constabulary – Report Online.
