A 42-year-old man from Blackburn has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing incident on Swift Close.
Police were called to the scene at 5:37 pm on Saturday, April 26th, following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, both armed and unarmed officers discovered two men with injuries.
A man in his 30s had sustained stab wounds and was taken to hospital. A second man, in his 40s, had also suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital for treatment.
Lancashire Police have stated that at this stage, neither man’s injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
A police cordon is currently in place on Swift Close as an investigation into the incident gets underway. Residents can expect to see a heightened police presence in the area while officers conduct their enquiries.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police urged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
