Police Investigate Indecent Exposure Incident Near Lytham’s North Beach Car Park

Police are appealing for public assistance following a concerning report of indecent exposure near the North Beach car park on Clifton Drive in Lytham. The incident was reported to authorities on Thursday, April 10th.

In a statement released today, police confirmed they are taking the matter “extremely seriously” and responded to the report shortly after it was received. In response to the incident, an operation involving both visible and plain-clothed officers was implemented in the area over the weekend.

However, no individual has yet been identified in connection with the report.

Authorities are now urging anyone who may have information that could aid their investigation to come forward.

They are particularly interested in obtaining any CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone footage that may have captured relevant details.

“We would like to appeal to the public to ask anyone who may have information about this incident that could help our enquiries to come forward,” the police statement read.

“We’re particularly interested in any CCTV, dashcam or phone footage that might assist our investigation. If you saw anything suspicious, or witnessed this incident, we’d like to hear from you.”

The appeal also extended directly to the individual involved or anyone who may know his identity.

“Likewise, if you are this man or if you know who he is, we’d appeal to you to do the right thing and come forward,” the statement added.

Police have reassured the public that officers will continue to maintain a presence in the area and are available to address any concerns residents may have.
