Emergency services are investigating the unexplained death of a woman in Liverpool city centre, after she was discovered unconscious at the Lord Nelson Hotel on Hotham Street.
Merseyside Police were called to the scene at approximately 1:40 pm today, Friday, April 11th, following reports of a woman found unresponsive inside the hotel.
Despite the swift attendance of emergency services, the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the location.
At this early stage, the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death remain unclear, and an investigation has been launched to establish the full facts of the incident and determine the cause of death.
Police are appealing to the public for any information that could assist their inquiries.
Anyone who may have witnessed anything unusual in or around the Lord Nelson Hotel on Hotham Street today, or who has any information that could be relevant to the investigation, is urged to come forward.
