Emergency services responded to a road traffic collision on Long Lane Heath in Chorley yesterday evening, Thursday, April 10th.
At approximately 18:15, a fire engine from Chorley Fire Station was dispatched to the scene following reports of a collision involving a motorbike and a van.
Upon arrival, fire service personnel found one casualty who had sustained a head injury.
Firefighters immediately administered first aid using one of their first aid kits at the scene.
The injured individual was subsequently handed over to the care of paramedics who attended the incident.
Crews from Chorley Fire Station remained at the location for thirty-five minutes before leaving the scene.
The extent of the injuries sustained by the van driver is currently unknown.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
