Motorists in Woodplumpton are advised to seek alternative routes this evening following a road traffic collision that has led to the closure of Newsham Hall Lane at its junction with Woodplumpton Road.
Police have cordoned off the area while they assess the scene of the incident.
The closure is expected to be in place for a “short amount of time,” according to a statement released by authorities.
Drivers are being urged to find alternative routes and to exercise caution on the roads, allowing extra time for their journeys.
