Two 16-year-old boys have been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Keiron Charles, who tragically died following a stabbing incident in Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday.
The two teenagers, who cannot be named for legal reasons due to their age, were charged on Monday, April 7th, following a thorough investigation by detectives from the Metropolitan Police.
Both individuals have been remanded in custody and were scheduled to appear at Highbury Corner Youth Court on Monday, April 7th, from 9:45hrs.
The charges follow the fatal stabbing of Keiron Charles, from East Acton, which occurred at approximately 13:10hrs on Saturday, April 5th, on Erconwald Street in Shepherd’s Bush.
Despite the swift response of police officers and paramedics, and their best efforts to save him, Keiron was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Keiron’s family continues to receive support from specially trained officers as they navigate this devastating loss.
Previously, the police had indicated that they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
The charging of these two teenagers marks a significant development in the investigation.
