Residents of Broughton in Amounderness are reeling after a distressing incident at the local Co-op store on Garstang Road.
The store was targeted in a raid that resulted in significant damage, including a smashed window believed to have been caused by an axe.
Thankfully, the Broughton in Amounderness Parish Council has confirmed that no one was physically harmed during the incident.
