Police Appeal for Information After Man Injured in Deliberate Car Collision in Stockport

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a man was injured when he was deliberately struck by a car in Stockport last night (Thursday, April 3).

The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 pm on Wilmslow Road, in close proximity to the Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre.

A white Peugeot car was intentionally driven into two males who were riding a blue electric motorbike.

The driver of the motorbike sustained injuries to his leg. While requiring medical attention, police have confirmed that his injuries are thankfully not believed to be life-threatening.

The second male on the motorbike did not suffer any injuries.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have confirmed that no arrests have been made at this stage, and enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.

As part of their investigation, officers are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or captured any relevant footage to come forward.

This includes any dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area around Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre on Wilmslow Road at approximately 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Police are actively pursuing all lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the driver of the white Peugeot.

They are urging anyone who may have seen the white Peugeot in the area before or after the collision, or who has any information that could assist their investigation, to get in touch as soon as possible.
