Callum Denley, a 20-year-old former Wiltshire Police Constable from Malmesbury, has admitted to five charges related to indecent images of children in Swindon Magistrates Court today (03/04).

Denley, who resigned from his position after being immediately suspended by the Wiltshire Police upon the discovery of the allegations, faced charges encompassing a range of severity, including categories A, B, and C indecent images of children.

He also pleaded guilty to possession of an extreme pornographic image and possession of a prohibited image of a child.

The case has shocked the local community and raised serious concerns regarding the safeguarding of children.

Wiltshire Police acted swiftly upon learning of the allegations, suspending Denley from his duties.

The charges brought against Denley underscore the gravity of the offences. The classification of indecent images into categories A, B, and C reflects the severity of the content, with category A representing the most extreme forms of abuse.

Denley is now scheduled to appear before Swindon Crown Court on May 2nd for sentencing.

The court will consider the severity of the offences and determine an appropriate punishment.
