A 38-year-old man from Burscough, Lancashire, has been charged with robbery following an incident in Burtonwood where a prospective buyer allegedly threatened a seller and stole a motorbike.
The incident occurred on March 10th at Rushton Close, Burtonwood.
The victim had advertised a motorbike for sale online, and the accused attended the address under the guise of a potential buyer.
However, it is alleged that the man then threatened the seller and made off with the motorbike.
Northern CID launched an investigation into the robbery, which led to the arrest of Anthony Price, 38, from Burscough.
He was subsequently charged with robbery.
Price appeared before Chester Magistrates’ Court on April 3rd. He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on May 1st.
