Blackpool Firefighters Tackle Blaze at Cliff Place Domestic Property

Firefighters from Blackpool and Bispham, supported by the aerial ladder platform from Blackpool, responded to a domestic building fire on Cliff Place earlier today.

At approximately 10:23 AM, emergency services were alerted to the incident.

Three fire engines swiftly arrived at the scene, where crews donned breathing apparatus to combat the blaze.

Utilizing two hose reels and the aerial ladder platform, firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the fire and ensure the safety of the surrounding area.

The operation lasted approximately two hours, with crews remaining on site to dampen down and ensure the fire was completely extinguished.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. There are no reports of any injuries at this time.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service commended the swift and professional actions of the firefighters involved in containing the incident.

They also wish to remind residents of the importance of having working smoke alarms and practicing fire safety measures within their homes.
