BREAKING: Teen stabbed close to Moor Park In Preston

A teenage boy is in hospital after being stabbed in the Moor Park area of Preston this afternoon, prompting a police investigation and road closure.

Lancashire Constabulary responded to reports of an assault at approximately 4 pm on Monday, March 31st.

Upon arrival, officers found the injured teenager and immediately arranged for his transport to a local hospital.

The extent of his injuries is currently unknown.

“We were called at shortly after 4 pm to reports of an assault and officers have attended and a boy in his teens has been taken to hospital with a stab wound,” a police spokesperson stated.

A thorough investigation is now underway, although police emphasize that it is in its early stages. As part of the ongoing inquiry, a section of Garstang Road has been closed to traffic.

“An investigation is underway and is in its early stages. There is currently a road closure in place on Garstang Road,” the spokesperson confirmed.
