Blackburn commuters faced delays this afternoon as Barbara Castle Way was closed at its junction with Ainsworth Street due to a road traffic collision.
Local authorities confirmed the closure, advising motorists to seek alternative routes and allow extra travel time.

“Barbara Castle Way at the junction with Ainsworth Street is currently closed due to a road traffic collision,” stated a spokesperson.
