A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder following a fatal altercation between two drivers in Chadderton.
Paul Robson, born on August 9, 1992, of Fold Green, Chadderton, is scheduled to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today, Saturday, March 29, 2025.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Broadway, Chadderton, near the Elk Mill roundabout, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Greater Manchester Police responded to reports of a fight between two drivers, only to find a 50-year-old man critically injured.
Despite the prompt efforts of emergency services, the victim tragically died at the scene.
“We initially responded to reports of a fight between two drivers close to the Elk Mill roundabout,” stated a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police.
“The victim, a man aged 50, sadly died at the scene despite the best efforts of emergency services. We continue to support his family at this extremely difficult time.”
The incident has shocked the local community, and police are continuing their investigation.
