Pedestrian Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Bradford Hit-and-Run

A man in his 40s is fighting for his life after being struck by a car on Great Horton Road in Bradford this morning.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following the serious road traffic collision.

The incident occurred at 10:04 AM on Wednesday, March 27th, at the junction of Great Horton Road and Havelock Street.

A black Audi Q3 collided with the pedestrian, causing life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Audi failed to stop at the scene.

Emergency services responded quickly, and the injured man was taken to hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Shortly after the collision, police arrested three men in connection with the incident. Investigations are ongoing.

Officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the black Audi Q3 before or after the incident, to come forward.

They are also seeking any CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist their investigation.

“We are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or the car in the time before or after it to contact us,” said a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police.

“We also want to hear from anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.”
