Heartfelt tributes have been paid to Sarah Joanne Theobald, who tragically died following a collision in Morecambe on March 11th.
The incident, involving a Vauxhall Astra and pedestrian Sarah, occurred on Regent Road shortly before 8:30 PM.
Sarah’s family and loved ones have released a moving statement, remembering her as a “fun-loving, kind, caring” individual with a “heart of gold.”
“Sarah Joanne Theobald was born on the 11 December 1983. She spent the first 9 years of her life in Morecambe with her mum before moving to Ashton-under-Lyne to live with her dad, step-mum, brothers and sister,” her loved ones said.
At the age of 19, Sarah returned to Morecambe, where she met Rob, her partner of 22 years. The tribute highlighted her vibrant personality and unwavering loyalty to those she loved.
“Sarah will be remembered as the fun-loving, kind, caring person she was, protective of those she loved, and who was the life and soul of any gathering,” the statement continued.
“She had many friends from different times in her life, but they all agree on one thing – Sarah had a heart of gold and would do anything for the people she cared about. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her, and all who were loved by her.”
Lancashire Constabulary is continuing to appeal for information and footage related to the fatal collision.
Their thoughts remain with Sarah’s family and friends during this difficult time.
“We’re continuing to appeal for information and footage following the collision between the Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian, Sarah,” a police spokesperson stated.
“Our thoughts remain with Sarah’s loved ones at this very sad time.”
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant information, including dashcam footage, is urged to come forward.
