Lancashire Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 76-year-old David Kay, who has gone missing from his home in Darwen.
Police are increasingly concerned for Mr. Kay’s welfare and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.
Mr. Kay was last seen at his home address at 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025.
He is described as being around 5ft 6 inches tall, of slight build, with very short hair and grey stubble.
When last seen, he was wearing a blue or navy blue thick woollen zip cardigan, an overstretched woollen hat, black tracksuit bottoms, and black shoes.
Lancashire Police are urging anyone who has seen Mr. Kay, or who has any information that could assist in locating him, to come forward immediately.
“We are very concerned about David’s welfare and are appealing to the public to help us bring him home safely,” said a spokesperson for Lancashire Police.
“Any information, no matter how small, could be crucial in finding him.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lancashire Police by calling 101, quoting log number LC-20250324-0699.
Police are also asking members of the public to share this appeal to help reach as many people as possible.
