A man has been charged with murder following the deaths of two men in Moss Side, Manchester, in November 2024.

Mouhamadou Fall, 23, of Milverton Road, Manchester, has been charged in connection with the deaths of Norman Scott, 68, and Sidy Fall, 75.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed the charges after an investigation by their Major Incident Team.

Emergency services were called to Great Southern Street on November 17, 2024, following reports of two men having sustained injuries.

Tragically, both Norman Scott and Sidy Fall were pronounced dead at the scene.

A murder investigation was immediately launched, leading to the arrest and subsequent charge of Mouhamadou Fall.

He is due to appear in court at a later date, which is yet to be confirmed.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of Norman Scott and Sidy Fall during this incredibly difficult time,” said a GMP spokesperson.

“Specially trained officers are providing ongoing support to the families, who have requested privacy as they come to terms with their loss.”

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths continues.
