Eight individuals are in custody following a series of coordinated drug warrant executions carried out by the North West Regional Crime Unit across Greater Manchester and Lancashire this morning.
The operation targeted an organized network suspected of involvement in the supply of Class A and B controlled substances.
The raids, executed on Wednesday, March 19th, resulted in the arrest of eight individuals at various locations. Those arrested are now being held at local police stations for questioning.
The arrests include:
* A 40-year-old man from Colne, Lancashire, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply both Class A and Class B drugs.
* A 74-year-old woman from Accrington, Lancashire, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
* A 50-year-old man from Padiham, Lancashire, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
* A 50-year-old man from Colne, Lancashire, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
* A 34-year-old woman from Cheetham Hill, Manchester, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.
* A 34-year-old man from Cheetham Hill, Manchester, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.
* A 34-year-old man from Manchester, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.
* A 50-year-old man with no fixed abode, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.
The operation highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to dismantle drug supply networks operating across the North West region.
