In the wake of the tragic death of Gary Carlisle, a beloved Moor Nook resident, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched by his niece, Leah, to help alleviate the financial burden on his grieving family.

“My family would probably hate the fact that I’ve done this, as they’re not ones who normally ask for any type of help,” Leah wrote on the GoFundMe page.
“But I think under the circumstances and shock of what happened I would just like to do something to try to raise any help what so ever towards the substantial costs to give Gary the best possible send off in which he deserves.”

“It’s proven that Gary was very loved in our community and was a big character, he would help anybody at the drop of a hat without question. And I just hope we can do the same for him now,” Leah stated on the funding page.
