69-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Oldham Road Collision

A 69-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision on Oldham Road yesterday afternoon (Monday, March 17th).

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called to the scene shortly before 1:30 PM, responding to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

The incident occurred on Oldham Road, Oldham.

Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrian was swiftly transported to hospital for treatment.

The man’s condition is described as serious.

GMP are now appealing to the public for assistance in their investigation. Officers are eager to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have information that could aid their enquiries.

Specifically, they are requesting that anyone with dashcam footage, mobile phone video, or any other relevant footage from the area in the moments leading up to the incident come forward.
