A 30-year-old man from Irlam has been charged with firearm and drug offences following an incident on Silver Street.
Ulrich Nzi, born on September 3, 1993, and residing on Silver Street, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
The charges stem from an incident where police responded to reports of a man with a gun at an address on Silver Street.
Upon arrival, officers recovered a firearm.
Nzi was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Monday, March 17, 2025.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that the firearm related to the incident has been recovered and that investigations are ongoing.
