Three fire engines responded to a domestic fire in Garstang early this morning, March 17th, 2025.
The incident occurred at a property on Chepstow Gardens, prompting a swift response from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
Crews from Preston and Fulwood were dispatched at 00:42, arriving to find a fire within the residential property.
Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, entered the building to tackle the blaze.
Utilizing one hose reel, the crews worked to extinguish the flames, while a thermal imaging camera was employed to identify hotspots and ensure the fire was completely extinguished.
The firefighters remained on scene for approximately 60 minutes to ensure the safety of the property and surrounding area.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
