A domestic building fire on Hibson Road, Nelson, prompted a swift response from local fire services late Sunday night, March 16th, 2025.
At approximately 22:04, two fire engines, one each from Nelson and Burnley, arrived at the scene.
Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, worked to extinguish the blaze using a single hose reel.
Crews successfully brought the fire under control, and remained on scene for approximately two hours to ensure the area was safe.
“Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service responded quickly to the incident, and worked efficiently to contain the fire.”
Further investigations into the cause of the fire are expected to be carried out.
No reports of injuries have been released at this time.
