A road traffic collision has caused the closure of Preston Lancaster New Road, leading to traffic congestion in the area.
Emergency services are currently on the scene. Drivers are advised to expect delays and seek alternative routes if possible.
The road is expected to remain closed for some time. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said on social media:
“Good Morning,
We want to let you know that you may experience congestion on and around Preston Lancaster New Road due to a Road Traffic Collision.
We anticipate that the road will be closed for some time, whilst we assess the situation
We’ll keep tabs on what’s happening and we’ll update you here once clear.”
