Commuters faced significant delays on the M6 northbound this morning due to a collision forced the closure of three lanes between Junction 30 (M61) and Junction 31 (A59 Preston New Road, Samlesbury).
The incident, which occurred earlier today, resulted in lanes one, two, and three of the four-lane carriageway being closed to traffic.
This closure has caused substantial congestion, with traffic moving slowly as emergency services work at the scene.
