Man Charged with Murder of Michelle Egge-Bailey in Cottingley

A man has been charged with murder following the death of Michelle Egge-Bailey in Cottingley, Bradford District.

Stephen Lawton, 45, of no fixed abode, has been charged with the murder of Ms. Egge-Bailey.

The charge follows an incident at a property on Airedale Avenue, Cottingley, on Monday, March 11th.

Lawton has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court later this morning, Wednesday, March 13th.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed the charge after carrying out investigations into the incident at the residential property.

They are continuing to appeal for information from anyone who may have witnessed anything related to the incident.

The community has been left shocked by the incident, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
