“Contagious Smile: Loved Ones Honor James Roberts After Tragic Death”

Scarborough is in mourning following the tragic death of James Roberts, a 24-year-old man from Alne, North Yorkshire.

James Roberts died in the early hours of Saturday morning following an incident in the town.

North Yorkshire Police have confirmed that a 26-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with James’s death.

He is scheduled to appear at York Magistrates Court this morning.

Two other men, who were also arrested in connection with the incident, have been released on bail pending further investigations.

The family of James Roberts have released heartfelt tributes, painting a picture of a vibrant and much-loved young man.

His mother and sister described him as “the most incredible man” who “viewed life as one big party and never allowed his sparkle to be dulled.” They emphasized his ability to “light up every room that he entered” and expressed their devastation at his loss, stating, “The world feels significantly darker without his presence.”

“He was an amazing son, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed by us and every one that knew him,” they continued.

“He worked hard, partied hard and cared for his family and friends even more. He was a unique person that will never be replaced – a special soul taken from this world too soon.”

They also expressed their gratitude to North Yorkshire Police and Scarborough Police for their “hard work to get justice.”

James’ father and another sister echoed these sentiments, saying they were “heartbroken to have lost James in the most heartbreaking way possible.” They described him as “the most beautiful, loving son, brother, and uncle,” whose “smile and laughter were contagious.”

“James was the life of a party and brought happiness to so many people,” they added. “You couldn’t help but smile around him. James will be missed dearly by family and friends in Manchester.”

The family’s tributes poignantly concluded with the words, “Have a good sleep in paradise – until we meet again.”

North Yorkshire Police have confirmed that their enquiries are ongoing. They have not released further details about the incident at this time.
