A 45-year-old man has been charged following reports of sexual assaults on two teenage girls at Preston Bus Station.
Lancashire Police received reports of the incidents shortly after 5:15 pm on Wednesday, March 6th.
The reports detailed that two teenage girls had been sexually assaulted within the bus station.
Following a thorough investigation, officers arrested a 45-year-old man from Preston on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault and public order offences, specifically causing fear or violence.
After consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Michael Dalby, 45, of Charnock Street, Preston, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.
He has also been charged with using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or violence.
Dalby has been remanded in custody and appeared before Preston Magistrates Court today.
Lancashire Police are continuing their enquiries and urge anyone with further information related to these incidents to come forward.
