A 32-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Lathaniel Burrell, who was fatally shot in Clapham earlier this week.
Omar Prempeh, born on December 22, 1992, and residing on Stanstead Road, Forest Hill, was charged with murder on Saturday, March 8th.
The charge follows the tragic shooting of Lathaniel Burrell, from Stockwell, on Tuesday, March 4th, in Paradise Road, SW4.
Lathaniel Burrell was pronounced dead at the scene. The young man’s family are being supported by specialist officers during this incredibly difficult time.
The Metropolitan Police are appealing for any information that may assist their ongoing investigation.

Omar Prempeh is scheduled to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 10th.
