Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Barrow on Saturday, March 8th, 2025.
Officers were called to a property in Barrow after a break-in occurred at approximately 21:30.
Detectives believe the offenders may have used a vehicle and are focusing their investigation on a section of the A59.
Specifically, they are asking anyone who travelled along the A59 between the McDonald’s roundabout and the Bramley Meade roundabout between 21:15 and 21:45 on the evening of March 8th to come forward.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in this area around the time of the burglary,” said a spokesperson for Lancashire Police.
“Even if you think it’s insignificant, your information could be vital to our investigation.”
Police are particularly interested in any dashcam footage or witness accounts of vehicles parked up along the A59 during the specified time period.
“If you were driving in the area and have dashcam footage, or if you saw any vehicles parked up or anything that seemed out of place, please get in touch,” the spokesperson added.
Anyone with information is urged to email RibbleValley.NPT@lancashire.police.uk
Lancashire Police are committed to bringing those responsible to justice and are urging the public to assist with their inquiries.
