A 33-year-old man from Kirkham has been arrested on suspicion of drug supply and money laundering following a raid by the Fylde Rural Task Force on Preston Street earlier today.
Officers executed a drugs warrant at the property, resulting in the seizure of a significant quantity of white powder, suspected to be a Class A drug, along with cannabis, drug paraphernalia, and a substantial amount of cash.
Six vehicles, believed to be linked to criminal activity, were also seized from the address.
The arrested man is being held on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs, as well as money laundering.
The Fylde Rural Task Force, in a statement released following the operation, emphasised their commitment to tackling drug-related crime within the Fylde area.
They vowed to continue targeting, disrupting, and pursuing individuals involved in the supply of illegal substances.
“This operation demonstrates our ongoing dedication to keeping our communities safe from the harm caused by drug dealing,” a spokesperson for the task force stated.
“We will continue to act on information provided by the public and take decisive action against those involved in this type of criminality.”
The statement concluded with a stark warning: “Who’s next? đź‘€ #YouSaidWeDid”
The arrest and seizures come as part of ongoing efforts by Lancashire Police to combat drug-related crime across the region. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity to the police.
The arrested man remains in custody while investigations continue.
