Wanted man Arrested in Preston After Failing to Comply with Sex Offender Requirements

Preston, Lancashire – A 26-year-old man, Adam Garner-Jones, has been arrested in Preston after failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements, Lancashire Police have confirmed.

Garner-Jones, who had been sought by authorities in recent weeks, was apprehended on Monday. He had been wanted for breaching the regulations of the sex offenders register.

The man, of no fixed address but with links to Burnley, has since been charged with failing to comply with the notification requirements. He was remanded in custody and appeared at Preston Magistrates Court today.

Lancashire Police had issued a public appeal for information regarding Garner-Jones’s whereabouts, and have expressed their gratitude to the public for their assistance.

“Thank you to everyone who shared and helped with the appeal, it is very much appreciated,” a police spokesperson stated.

The arrest comes after a period of active searching by law enforcement, highlighting the commitment to ensuring compliance with sex offender registration regulations. The case is now proceeding through the courts.
