Emergency services responded to a fire at a residential property on Marine Crescent, Buckshaw Village, on March 2nd, 2025.
The incident, involving a tumble dryer, occurred at approximately 21:50.
Fire crews from Leyland, Chorley, and Bamber Bridge attended the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a fire within the property, originating from a tumble dryer.
Using a single hose reel, crews quickly extinguished the fire. They then employed ventilation techniques to clear the property of smoke.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that crews were on site for approximately one hour.
There were no reported injuries.
