Lewisham has been plunged into mourning following the tragic death of 63-year-old Charlie Prodromou, who died after a brutal assault in the heart of the town centre.
Paul Tallant, 42, of Eltham, has been charged with his murder.
The incident unfolded on Saturday, March 1st, at approximately 8:39 PM, when police were called to Lewisham High Street following reports of a violent disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers and paramedics discovered Mr. Prodromou suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
