Police continue to appeal for witnesses following stabbing in Blackburn

Lancashire Police are urging any witnesses to come forward and contact them

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a stabbing on Skye Crescent in Blackburn on Friday, 21st February.

A man was found to have suffered a stab injury to his wrist and an arm injury around 10pm. A man aged 27 was arrested and has since been bailed confirm the force.

Forensic investigations were seen being carried out at a domestic property following the incident in what police are describing as a serious assault.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said:

“We received a report of a serious assault on Skye Crescent, Blackburn at around 10pm on Friday 21st February.

It was reported that a man suffered a stab injury to his wrist, and an arm injury.

An investigation is ongoing, and 27-year-old man from Blackburn was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. He has since been bailed whilst our enquiries continue.
