The fire involved the ground floor of a domestic property
Emergency services rushed to the fire on Tuesday night in East Lancashire.
The fire happened on Queen Street shortly before 10:30pm. Three fire engines from Barnoldswick, Earby, and Colne were dispatched to the fire with crews wearing breathing apparatus and used a ventilation fan to clear heavy smoke logging.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“At 22:22 on Tuesday, 25th February 2025, three fire engines from Barnoldswick, Earby, and Colne attended an incident on Queen Street, Barnoldswick.
The fire involved the ground floor of a domestic property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one positive pressure ventilation fan to clear heavy smoke logging.
Crews were in attendance for three hours and ten minutes.
