Lancashire Police received reports from various stores of theft over the last month
A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of theft from stores across Lancashire thought o be estimated at around £20,000 over the last month.
In an update posted today, Lancashire Police said:
“We wanted to update you after we received reports of theft from stores in Lytham, Preston, St Annes, and Blackpool.
It was reported that over the last month, an estimated £20,000 worth of goods were stolen from the stores.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft.
Operation Vulture is Lancashire Constabulary’s response to shoplifting across the county, backed by Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.
The operation sees dedicated officers undertaking hotspot patrolling, increasing their visibility in targeted areas and creating strong partnerships with retailers across the county to better share intelligence, get a deeper understanding of retail crime and identify more offenders.
