A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died in Stonnall, near Lichfield.
In a statement released today, Staffordshire Police said:
“We were called at 7.50am this morning (Tuesday 25 February) by colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service to reports that a woman had died inside a property on Main Street.
A 53-year-old man, from the Lichfield area, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
The woman’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
