A man and a woman previously arrested have been released under investigation
A man who sadly died after being struck by a pick-up truck in Cumbria at the weekend had been named.
In an update posted today, Cumbria Police said:
“A man who died following a collision in Temple Sowerby has been named as Thomas Scaife (known as Tom), aged 32, from the Eden area.
The collision involved a white pick-up on the B6412 in Temple Sowerby at around 12:23am on Sunday 23 February.
Sadly, Mr Scaife died at the scene from his injuries.
A man and a woman previously arrested in connection with the incident have been released from custody under investigation, pending further enquiries.
Anyone with any information which could assist the investigation is urged to contact police.
