An appeal has been launched by West Midlands Police following the discovery in Birmingham
An investigation is underway after a man was found seriously injured in Birmingham City Centre on Sunday morning.
In a statement released today, West Midlands Police said:
“We’re investigating after a man was found seriously injured in Birmingham city centre today.
We were called by the ambulance service to Granville Street in the city centre just after 4am.
The man, in his 30s, is believed to have suffered a number of injuries and is in a serious condition in hospital today.
We are carrying out a number of enquiries including CCTV checks, but at this stage we do not know how he was injured.
Officers remain in the area carrying out enquiries this afternoon.
