Officers investigating the discovery of a shotgun and machetes following a footchase through a Birmingham street on Friday have secured charges against two men.
In an update posted today, West Midlands Police said:
“Adnan Haider, aged 21 from Saltley, has been charged with firearm offences, possession of a bladed article, and driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.
Dayyan Mahmood, aged 19 from Birmingham has been charged with possession of a firearm and possession of a bladed article.
They have both been remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (22 Feb).
This comes after officers seized a shotgun, machetes and class B drugs after a foot chase in Washwood Heath yesterday (21 Feb).”
