Firefighters spent around an hour and a half extinguishing the fire
Emergency services rushed to a house fire in Accrington in the early hours of Friday morning.
The fire happened at a domestic property on Burnley Road in the town. Firefighters from Hyndburn attended the blaze and used breathing apparatus along with one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
It is currently unknown if any occupants were inside the property at the time of the fire and no further details have been released.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“At 03:00 on the 21st February 2025 , two fire engines from Hyndburn attended a domestic building fire on Burnley Road, Accrington.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one and a half hours.”
