If you can help with our investigation, you can contact us via Live Chat on our website, or by calling 101 quoting log 2746 of 15 February.
We want to reiterate that reports of ambulances being raided or unable to drop-off patients at hospital following the stabbing, are untrue.
False claims have been made on social media and repeated in the community.
We have spoken to officers who attended the hospital with the victim, along with hospital staff on duty at the time as well as ambulance officials. All have confirmed that these rumours are untrue, unhelpful and damaging to the caring service they provide.”
