The road is expected to be closed for some time say Lancashire Police
Emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic collision in Ashton-on-Ribble this Sunday afternoon.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area whilst emergency services deal with the collision.
The closure is in place on the westbound carriageway of Watery Lane down to the junction of Portway.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said:
“We are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on Watery Lane Preston. As a result Watery Lane Westbound is closed to the junction with Portway.
Please avoid the area as we expect this closure to be on for some time.”
