Four people have been taken to hospital following a fight in the early hours of Friday morning, which is believed to have taken place around 4am on Broadway in Stratford.
Three suffered stab wounds, and another suffered an injury to his face. Police are describing their injuries as non-life threatening.
One man has been arrested so far confirm the MET.
A Met Police statement said: “Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service. “Four men sustained injuries requiring hospital treatment.
“Three men – aged 22, 32 and 36 – were believed to have stab wounds. Their injuries have all been assessed as non-life threatening and non-life changing. A fourth man – aged 26 – was believed to have an injury to his jaw. His condition has also been assessed as non-life threatening and non-life changing.”
One person has been arrested so far, with further urgent enquiries are ongoing.
The road is shut in both directions near Stratford Bus Station between A118 Great Eastern Road and A112 Tramway Avenue. Several buses have been rerouted in the area and University of East London Buses warned its students there was “very heavy traffic” in the area.
